Motivated students interested in the travel industry could apply for the Travel Talent Event, which took place on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, during the Vakantiebeurs at the Jaarbeurs. During this event, students had the opportunity to learn more about the opportunities offered by the travel industry after graduation. Former students, who had now been active in the travel industry for several years, shared their experiences and gave valuable tips.
During interactive sessions, these young professionals spoke about their work experience, their love of the industry and how they had found their ideal job. Students got a unique insight into the personal stories, the challenges these professionals had overcome and the steps they had taken to get where they were today. Of course, there was also plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
The event offered several 40-minute sessions specifically for both college and secondary school students. The exact times were announced in advance. The Travel Talent Event took place in the Croeze Hall of the Jaarbeurs, with the entrance between halls 8 and 7.
Registration was possible through the course or through Reiswerk. Participation required a ticket to the Vakantiebeurs, which could easily be ordered through an online form.
