Visiting students to Vakantiebeurs

Students and young professionals are expected to adhere to the following rules of conduct and dress code during Vakantiebeurs. Should this not be the case on the exhibition floor and the rules below are not followed, Vakantiebeurs has the right to remove persons from the exhibition floor. For good preparation, we have listed some tips.

  • Rules of conduct Vakantiebeurs
    • As a visitor, you are responsible for correct and businesslike behavior. This means an active, businesslike attitude.
    • We require an official dress code for Vakantiebeurs. The dress code is business casual. This includes neat (long) pants, closed neat shoes or boots, a blouse/polo/blazer. We expect you to be clean when visiting and to avoid wearing unprofessional clothing. Workout/sportswear, shorts and open shoes are not allowed.
    • If available from the program, please wear a badge or keycord with first name, last name, name of school and program.

  • Preparation for visit
    • Create a resume and bring several printed copies with you to the fair or, by arrangement, share an online version by email.
    • Read up and learn about the exhibitors present.
    • Prepare to talk with exhibitors present, what are your strengths? What do you want to learn? Why should a company choose you?
