With Bespoke Safaris, you choose a varied experience trip, rather than a rushed sightseeing trip along all the 'highlights of South Africa'. At Vakantiebeurs we will be happy to show you what we mean by our 'Less Driving, More Experiencing' philosophy, and why literally all our travelers give us excellent reviews. Also at the fair we will present our trips to the 'Elephant Coast' of South Africa, the most varied region of the country, brimming with natural beauty, many different ecosystems, interesting culture and also malaria-free. And because this region is not as well known as the famous Kruger or the Cape, the Elephant Coast is also very affordable! Stop by our booth and be surprised and informed at the same time!

The city thrived on textiles and weaving, and the old city center is a treasure trove in itself. The atmosphere is well experienced in the large market square with a town hall in the style of an Italian palace and St. John's Church. Out of love for Suriname we were born. We, Edward and Marijke, are Travelsuriname, a small specialized travel agency with a lot of travel experience: we have traveled all over the world ourselves. We love traveling and we especially love Suriname and we would like to share this with everyone. Edward was born and raised in Suriname and we often go back for family visits and vacations. So we know the country very well, we have excellent contacts but we also know what the Dutch traveler wants.Edward : I was born and raised Surinamese. I went to elementary school as well as secondary school in Suriname. I have great memories of this, for example with my friends in scouting, camping in the forest or playing soccer in the streets but also the trips to the interior. My father, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends still live in Suriname. I visit Suriname several times every year to visit my father, family and friends but also to enjoy the country. In 1999 I met Marijke and from then on we have been going to Suriname together. Our children come there from the age of 3 months and we take them everywhere we go, so we make sure that everything we offer is suitable for all ages. Everyone who comes back from Suriname talks about the beautiful nature and the casual and open contact with the locals. We like to share this experience with you. During all our trips and tours you get to know our beautiful Suriname and have contact with real Surinamese people. We do this in a tailor-made trip. You determine your own route and pace. Marijke : I met Edward in 1999. At that time I did not know Suriname at all. Edward asked me if I wanted to get to know his country and of course I immediately said yes. Then he proposed a 3-week stay with his parents. I found this quite exciting and asked if we could go into the jungle for at least one week. No sooner said than done. I loved (and still love) going into the jungle, it is an overwhelming experience every time! So we have been doing this for more than 20 years, every year one or more times to family but also to the plantations and the jungle. I look at Suriname through European glasses, the glasses of most of our travelers, so I understand the wishes and needs that are often good. The combination with Edward's knowledge and experience as a Surinamese and my European view turns out to be a very good one. Many travelers return enthusiastic and, like me, fall a little in love with Suriname!
