At the Canon booth, visit our Canon Theater featuring several speakers throughout the day who are experts in travel photography & journaling. Such as Sjoerd Bracké & Romy van der Linden.

Sjoerd Bracké is a Dutch travel photographer. He started photography while traveling through Asia in 2017. Through this trip he immersed himself more and more in photography and now he is a full-time travel photographer. In recent years, Sjoerd traveled to many different countries AND he became a Canon Netherlands ambassador. In total, Sjoerd has already visited 38 countries, but there are many more on his bucket list. The goal of his images? To convey the feeling of the moment. Sometimes this means the small feeling you get when high, imposing mountains are around you, but at other times it means the helpless feeling when a volcano erupts. Sjoerd likes to tell us more about his work as a travel photographer and how he wants to convey the feeling of a place with his images. Of course, Sjoerd also gives tips for when you want to get started with travel photography yourself.

Romy van der Linden, is Digital Creator and an expert in creativity + lifestyle + DIY. One of her passions is making scrapbooks and travel journals. In our theater, Romy will give you practical tips & tricks and show you, based on her own work, how you too can do this while traveling. Making a travel journal is much more than just pasting photos into a journal. By combining photos, tickets, postcards, etc., you create unique and personal pages that tell your story. Creating a travel journal is relaxing and really being in the moment.
